Game 1 Charlotte/WBS: Quick Off the Rails Already

WBS lost game one of their best-of-five game series against the Charlotte Checkers last night 3-2 in overtime.

The Checkers play in the, “Bojangles Colliseum.” Charlotte deserve to lose this series just for that terrible name alone.

The Kaunas, Lithuania native, Andrey Pedan, scored on a powerplay. As expected, Daniel Sprong also scored. The Baby Pens were winning 2-0 and Jarry was making save after amazing save.

Jarry was expected to score in OT last night to win the game singlehandedly.

Then the Pens took too many penalties and Charlotte made them pay. Maybe they just stopped playing and watched the Flyers game like the rest of us.

Forget this game! I’m not sure if it even happened.

TK must have seen the Flyers short handed goal too.

"TK" (Tom Kostopoulos) is upset. I’m upset. Both Penguins teams lost within 5 minutes of each other. A brutal night. Game two is a must win. They won’t win three in a row in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The Series will end in WBS either way.

Prepare for the worst. Expect the worst. More after the game tonight. At least WBS didn't give up a short handed goal to the Flyers.
