"Sid is not the best in the world, skill wise...." by@MedinaMarie_PI

...according to Dan Bylsma that is in a recent interview with ESPN on Ice.

Well, then. (enter confused and somewhat befuddled face here).

Let's see what the rest of the league, including it's players has to say on the subject.

In the latest poll done by the NHL Players Association (NHLPA), Sidney Crosby was voted the "Most Difficult Player to Play Against" overall.

Best Role Model- Oh, just Sidney Crosby.

Forward that is the Most Difficult to Play Against: Claude Giroux....just kidding, it's Crosby.

Best Team Player: Crosby

#1 Choice to have on your team if you need to win one game: Crosby

Current player that would be a great coach when they retire: Crosby (and yes Dan, he could very well be a better coach than you).

So, who is the best hockey player in the world, based on skill or otherwise.....?

SIDNEY PATRICK CROSBY. While other players' skill may come more naturally, there is no doubt that Crosby's skill level is the most consistent and some of the best to watch.

Note to former Head Coach Dan Bylsma: your opinion will be filed securely in the closest trash receptacle.
