Hockey After Dark: Night 22 (Click Bait: I found the Perfect Analytic & Audio of the Washington Capitals' "Players Only Meeting" Edition) by @DXTraeger

"...Where Insomnia Hits the Ice."
(Welcome to "Hockey After Dark," a late-night recap of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  Topics will include scores, injuries, controversies, the Twitter-verse, and random jokes at the expense of the Philadelphia Flyers.  I strongly encourage clicking on the links)

Last night, I expounded upon the NHL's headshot epidemic and how it extends into the sport's media coverage.  So long as idiots like Mike Milbury and Keith Jones can wax moronic about "hockey plays," the league will continue to see its best selling points (Crosby, McDavid, etc.) miss games.

Sorry to tease and run folks, but if you've been an avid reader to this point, then you know that I've been on #BabyWatch2017 for a few days now.

It seems that the Pittsburgh Penguins' newest fan is eager to watch her favorite team close out the Capitals on Saturday night, so you'll have to excuse me while I accommodate her demands.

Seriously, I've loved writing this bit, and I've loved the playoff journey with all of you to this point, and as soon as my new little one permits, we will pick up where we left off.

I'll also share pictures of my daughter with all of her Penguins SWAG.

Go Penguins!  Hope to catch up with all of you soon!
