Murray, O'Neill, Jeffrey Named All-Stars by @_MAF29

It was announced by the AHL that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' goaltender Matt Murray, defenseman Will O'Neill, and forward Dustin Jeffrey had been named to the AHL's 2nd All-Star team.

Matt Murray has spent a huge portion of the season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, but when he was in the AHL this year, he was dominant. Through 31 games played, Murray carried a 20-9-1 record with a goals against average of 2.10 (2nd) , a save percentage of .931 (T-1st), and 4 shutouts (T-6th).

Will O'Neill led the AHL in points among defensemen last year, and has been an anchor on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton blue-line this year. Through 68 games played (2 remaining), O'Neill has 46 points (3rd among D-men), and this includes 38 assists and 8 goals.

Dustin Jeffrey spent the majority of the season with the Springfield Falcons, but ever since he was traded to Pittsburgh in a deal in which Matia Marcantuoni was sent the other way, he's been an offensive dynamo with the Baby Pens. Through 58 total AHL games this season, Jeffrey has 19 goals and 41 assists for 60 points.

Will O'Neill and Matt Murray were named to the AHL All-Star Classic earlier this year.
