A Merry Penguins Christmas

A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours from everyone at Pens Initiative. We'd like to thank everyone that has followed our team on Twitter, liked our Facebook page, or just simply comes to our site to read our posts. Christmas is about giving, and in the spirit of the holidays we have gifts that we'd like to give to the Penguins organization.

Evgeni Malkin - With all the heavy lifting he's been doing, it's important that Malkin takes care of himself so he doesn't break down. As the only one consistently being able to generate offense, if he goes down from the weight of carrying the team it could get ugly.

Beau Bennett - Milk helps strengthen bones, and it does a body good.

David Morehouse, Jim Rutherford, and Co. - The front office meetings on the state of the team, the direction of the franchise, and anything and everything hockey ops related likely struggle to fill the time with good ideas and intelligent conversation. Now, instead of sitting around aimlessly they can finally get a clue game going and figure out who killed this team's chances for success Mr. Boddy.

Matt Murray - A house in Pittsburgh. It sure looks like you'll be with the NHL team for a long time.

Sidney Crosby - It's been a rough year for Sidney Crosby, between the scoring slump to start the season, a head coach whose defense heavy strategy put the offense in a bad place, aging linemates, and a lack of puck luck. His struggles have been commented on ad nauseam, but if he blocks out the negativity we have faith he'll rebound under new coach Mike Sullivan.

Ian Cole - It's been set to March 2, 2015 - the day you became a Pittsburgh Penguin.

Pascal Dupuis - Enjoy retirement, Duper. Also, best wishes for a healthy post-hockey life.

Rob Scuderi - Well, he was a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins this season, so it's probably only right that we get him something. I'm sure the fruitcake will hold up while over-nighted to Chicago.
