Penguins @ Kings

After 2 periods, the game was still scoreless and shot attempts were low.  Fans were feeling the late game start time / lack of scoring and it was leaving them feeling a little like…

Fleury was spectacular, though.
Hornqvist broke the scoreless deadlock in overtime:


Penguins @ Sharks

The 1st period had some back and forth until the Sharks made it 1-0 with about a minute left in the period.
Crosby tied the game, the game went into overtime.
After many shootout rounds, the Sharks were able to steal the extra point, winning 2-1.

Oilers @ Penguins

It didn’t take long for Sutter to get on the board, scoring a short-handed goal.
Sutter wasn’t done, as he scored the 2nd goal as well.
And not long thereafter…
Early in the 2nd period, it was more of the same:
2 quick Oilers goals later had everyone singing a different tune.
Then, in the 3rd the Oilers made it a one goal game.

As the Oilers are in contention for the 1st overall pick, this makes so much sense:
Yet, the Oilers were able to claw all the way back against a seemingly disinterested Pens team.
