Goodbye, Disco Dan by @ChicksDigHockey and @RobUllman

Goodbye Disco Dan
before Consol became your hell
You ground ‘em down and got to your game
All the coaching records fell.

You came up from the minors
And you won the Pens a Cup
You could tally up a hundred points
But in May that’s not enough

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a shiny disco ball
Never knowing where to spin to
When the stars began to fall.

You should have changed your lines more
But that’s not what you did
The defense burned out long before
Sid and Geno ever did.

Now you’re packing bags
Headed out the Fort Pitt Bridge
If you want to take some Jumbo
Last stop, Settler’s Ridge.

Even when you tried
The Trib still hounded you
All that Dejan had to say was that
Disco got the boot

Goodbye Disco Dan,
back to the finals you couldn't go
You’re a regular season genius
but it’s time for you to go.
