Sidney Crosby Got Crosschecked In the Back of The Neck/Head With No Call
During the first period, Marc Staal crosschecked Sidney Crosby in the back of the neck, and then slashed him in the back of the head on the same shift. The refs did not call a damn thing. What's worse is NBC and their "analyst" Pierre McGuire condoned Staal's play calling it "Old time hockey."Meanwhile, the NHL is supposed to be cutting down on hits to the head. The NHL does not know how to treat their players and especially their superstars.
Luckily Crosby was not injured but the Pittsburgh Penguins should still show this to the NHL and the NHL player safety because that is outrageous that there wasn't a penalty called on the play.
