James Neal reportedly injured playing wiffle ball...Or was he?

Conflicting reports coming out right now about James Neal being injured. David Todd, who covers the Pittsburgh Steelers for ESPN radio 970, the Pittsburgh affiliate, shocked the social media world by tweeting that Pittsburgh Penguins' winger James Neal was injured playing a pickup game of whiffle ball, on skates, with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Rob Rossi, the Penguins' beat writer for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review has since debunked this theory/rumor tweeting that Neal's strained oblique injury has nothing to do with playing whiffle ball. Chaos, rumors, jokes, and anger are all sure to ensue amongst Pens fans.
