When Hockey was Played; A Haiku Set by @Nick422

Remember when the Penguins played hockey?  Man, were those the days.  I have fond memories of that far away time.  The Penguins were winning, we were doing podcasts, there were things to write about.  Alas those times seem so far away.  Instead of wallowing in pity and sadness and wandering aimlessly through the streets zombie-like, let's recap what's happened to this point.  In haiku.

ROUND 1- NEW YORK ISLANDERS

Game 1:

That Beau sure did know.
Fleury looked like he would grow.
All was fine yinz guys.

Game 2:

Sid makes his return
Fleury misses the memo
Okposo?  Oh no!

Game 3:

Down by two early,
Pens rally with four straight goals.
OT hero? Kuuuuuuuu!

Game 4:

Pens up in the third
And, oh, the bottom fell out.
Bye bye Marc-Andre

Game 5:

Tomas Vokoun, oh
Praise be to Tomas Vokoun
And T. Kennedy

Game 6:

Islanders fight hard.
Free hockey means Free Candy.
Brooks Orpik?  The man.

ROUND 2- OTTAWA SENATORS

Game 1:

Hello second round!
So good to see you again.
Pens win four-to-one.

Game 2:

The Sens?  They so tried.
The Crosby show is renewed.
Pens go up two games.

Game 3:

Thirty second fart.
Dan Bylsma must go now!
Who is C. Greening?

Game 4:

Pens just dominate.
Can the Sens start a comeback?
No.  "Probably not."

Game 5:

Where is the suspense?
Sens buried very quickly.
See you next round, Bs.
